Japan O Rama Slots
Japan-O-Rama offers a Japanese theme from Rival i-Slots. The game covers various items from the Japanese culture including sumo wrestling, robots, sushi, Ninja’s, super fast trains, gaming devices, mobile phones and more. It is designed with 20 paylines where you will be able to complete wins when a minimum of three symbols from let to right appear. Bonuses ensure rewards with scatters, expanding wild symbols, a bonus game, free spins and a jackpot that has a maximum value of 1,000 coins when 5 samurai swords appear. In our opinion, the game graphics could have been a little better, however, all of the symbols appear as cartoons and this is a nice touch and quite common with i-slots. There are a few interesting animations when a winning combination appears and the wilds cannot be missed.

Japan-O-Rama might not have the best in graphical detail, but the bonus features more than makeup for this with huge rewards. The storyline will begin with impressive payouts using expanding wilds on reels 1, 2 and 3. When the wilds appear, which is the Godzilla, they will expand and a short animation will appear within each symbol. Each covered position will offer a substitute that can replicate standard symbols and offer extra payouts. The wild will not be able to replicate any of the bonus or scatters symbols, but can substitute for the jackpot symbol.
The bonus rounds such as the free spins and bonus games can be triggered by scatter symbols. These symbols include the Geisha for free spins and the Sumo wrestler for the bonus game. Get at least 3 of either symbol to appear in any position on the reels to activate these bonuses. The free spins are determined by the number of scatters triggering with 5 being the minimum and 20 the maximum. In addition, a 3x multiplier is attached to those wins and can make a big difference in the overall results. From personal experience, the multiplier is definitely an add-on worth having during the feature. The bonus game is interesting, but not quite as rewarding or entertaining as one might hope for. We won’t spoil any details about the occurrences in the feature, but don’t get those hopes up too high.
Japan-O-Rama can’t be compared to games of today in terms of graphics and animations, but it’s rewards and entertainment matches up rather well. As mentioned, the bonus game itself is a little boring, but the free spins make up for it and reward more than you might think at first. To us, the game represents the theme well, even with the cartoon graphics and animations. The flashing lights and the background don’t really make sense or have any relations to Japan, but the theme seems to only begin with the actual game and payline indicators.
