Elektra got us excited as we expected an action packed video slot with animations and references to the movie would. However, we were somewhat disappointed to see a lack of animations, but at least, Elektra appeared on the reels. The progressive jackpots were highly impressive as they are linked to the Marvel jackpots, and they accumulate at a rapid pace thereby offering some outstanding wins to say the least.
Electra appears as the wild symbol, however only on reels 2, 3 and 4. Here she will expand and cover the reels she appears on but only when free spins are active. Elektra, as the game wild, will match any other slot symbol and complete the highest winning combinations where possible.
The bonus game is the most exciting part but didn’t really grab our attention. The feature was rewarding and fairly easy to activate, but we expected more action during and failed to experience that. Once 3 Elektra logos appear you are rewarding with the free spin bonus. There are 3 options you may select from and this ranges from 7 to 14 free spins with multipliers of 2x to 4x. The option is completely up to you to decide, which is nice as it gives a sense of what could be. As mentioned above, the wild symbol will expand and cover the reel.
Elektra was a bit of a disappointment in our view. Most of the time an exciting bonus feature or 2 are featured with superheroes, but all we found were free spins and the progressive jackpot bonus. The game itself remanded rewarding though and once we played with a higher bet, the progressive jackpot was activated, during which we managed to trigger the smallest jackpot, which was a decent amount when considering the total wager placed a the time of it triggering.
