National Lottery Adds Lotto Plus 2 Game

National Lottery South Africa is starting a new Lotto Game Lotto Plus 2. The first draw with this option included takes place on Wednesday, August 2, providing players with an additional chance of winning the jackpot and other valuable prizes.

Besides the introduction of the new bonus game, National Lottery South Africa has added 3 more numbers to boards, so from now on players can choose their lucky combination from 52 instead of 49 numbers. Find out where to buy your lucky numbers on our list of lottery sites.

To join the game, you should choose 6 numbers manually or by opting for Quick Pick, thus letting the computer choose 6 lucky numbers for you. Find a valid Lotto betslip and mark 6 numbers from 1 to 52 on any of boards. If you want to take advantage of additional chances of winning, tick boxes with Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2. The price of a single standard Lotto combination is R5 while bonus games come at a price of R2.50 each. Go to a Lottery retailer and make a payment to get a receipt with your combination. It is recommendable that you write your name on the back of the receipt.

You can play as many boards as you want. Keep in mind that to play LOTTO PLUS 1 you are required to play a regular Lotto combination. If you want to use the second chance, just mark the Lotto Plus 1 option on your betslip. If you want to increase your winning chances even more, play Lotto Plus 2 by marking this option on the betslip. In this case, you have to play both Lotto and Lotto Plus 1 games.

Another available option is Multi-Draw, which allows you to play the same numbers over multiple draws. On the top of a betslip you will find this option, so all you have to do is to mark a number of draws you want to play using the same combination. You can opt for up to 10 draws.

A single Lotto combination will cost you R5, while each additional game comes at a cost of R2.50. Besides regular payouts, you can also win R15 if you manage to match 2 numbers and a Bonus Ball on Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2.

You can buy tickets until 20:30 on the day of a Lotto draw. Don’t forget that you can also play Lotto online, directly on the official National Lottery website. Lotto draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday and they are broadcast live on SABC 2 at 20:56.

Get ready for Wednesday, August 2, when the first Lotto Plus 2 draw will take place. Choose your lucky combination of numbers and you might be the next big winner. The estimated Lotto jackpot stands at R6,000,000 while Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 jackpots are R3,500,000 and R1,000,000 respectively.

Good luck!
