Games Developer Playtech Launches New Products South African online casino fans are no strangers to games by the London-listed gaming solutions provider, Playtech. Now this powerful group has announced that it has partnered with TruNarrative, with the objective to release a new global compliance platform for the industry.

Online casino sites that are powered by Playtech will, as of now, have access to TruNarrative’s transactional monitoring solutions and risk compliance features. These include ID and age verification, document validation and continuous monitoring.

According to the VP of product strategy at Playtech, Anthony Evans, by linking the company’s core gaming products and its BetBuddy safer gambling analytics software with TruNarrative’s compliance platform, Playtech is essentially enabling operators to access a unique safer gambling solution.

Also adding his two cents was the head of regulatory affairs and compliance for Playtech, Ian Ince, you said: “The increasingly complex regulatory framework is the single biggest challenge facing gambling businesses operating in regulated markets.”

“This partnership will help operators answer this challenge,” added Ince.

The head of gaming at TruNarrative, Adam Doyle, expressed his excitement to be working with Playtech. He said that his company was looking forward to delivering innovative customer onboarding, safer gambling and risk management solutions to its partners.

It has been a productive period for Playtech in recent months. The group launched new live casino variants last month – Live Slots and Quantum Blackjack. The two industry-first products are streamed from a live studio.

Live Slots has a fun game-show feel with a collective touch. The games feature community-spins, where all players can play one game together.

“Live Slots is a genuinely new concept within the industry, delivering an engaging new style of gameplay for players and creating an exciting cross-sell opportunity for operators,” said Playtech’s head of innovation for live casino, Kevin Kilminster.

Following the success of its Quantum Roulette, Playtech also launched Quantum Blackjack late last month, which offers players the chance to play multiplier-based blackjack. Bets are made, an extra draw takes place, and then three cards are drawn with a random multiplier of up to 10 x. Should a player draw one of these cards and beats the dealer, they are paid according to the multiplier.
