2018 ICE Africa Will Spotlight the Growing African Gambling Market
International Casino Exhibition (ICE) Africa will be the first event to bring together the entire African gaming continent. This will be the first ICE event held outside of London. ICE Africa will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre from 24-25 October 2018 and the next ICE exhibition will be held again in February 2019.
ICE Africa will allow the gaming industry to meet, network, and view the newest gaming innovations. This business to business (B2B) event will cover various sectors in the gaming industry including betting, bingo, casino, online gaming, sports betting, online payment processors, mobile gaming, lotteries and land based casinos.
Major Gaming Providers Will Focus On Africa
VNE a global payment solutions provider will showcase its solutions at ICE Africa. The payment provider hasn’t entered the African market but is excited about the potential that the African continent has to offer. International Sales Director Kai Buenger expects ICE Africa to grab the attention of international operators who will then be keen on launching operations across different African countries.
In a statement, Buenger said “ICE Africa will raise the profile of the continent and put it firmly on the gaming map. It´s our opinion, that up until now the potential of the African markets have not been accurately reflected on the international stage and we are pleased that is about to change and equally pleased to be supporting this historic event.”
VNE is looking at launching business operations in Africa and will use ICE Africa to network local regulators, gaming operators and industry suppliers to establish a base in Africa.
