Blade includes many symbols for more rewards. These include the hero himself, a vampire girl, and many of his weapons along silver and red high card symbols. Blade appears as the wild, but when we saw this symbol, we were rather disappointed to find it’s not the hero we saw in the movies. For some reason, the developer created their Blade characters with different glasses, a different haircut and the sword on his back is not even similar. Nevertheless, the symbol is wild for all standard symbols, meaning Blade can replicate their value and stand in for more payouts. Once 5 of his symbols appear on a line, the standard jackpot of 25,000 coins will be rewarded.

The split symbol feature was interesting the first time round. The feature symbol needs to show on five reels where it will split symbols on that reel to possibly reward combinations of 6 of a kind. Much higher payouts are available here, but not many combinations manage to reach the 5th reel. Free spins are activated by the scatters showing the Blade logo. Once these appear in any 3 or more positions, multipliers are rewarded, and 15 free games will begin. The feature includes a dynamic multiplier, which increased the multiplier from a minimum of 2x with each win, but also decreases back to 2x with non-winning spins.

Blade had us interested as we all enjoyed the movie and the hero it featured. We were somewhat disappointed to see the symbols and the way Blade is featured, but other than that, we enjoyed the game especially with the progressive jackpot game that ensures a jackpot rewarded when randomly activated. The massive jackpots are hard to reach, but the smaller ones were also highly rewarding. It’s recommended to use a higher coin value if the progressive is your target. Our rating: 78/100
